Worship with the Word
"Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with Grace in your hearts to the Lord." Colossians 3:16
In this worship format, we follow the Harp and Bowl model as we come into agreement with God's heart and who He says He is. Portions of Scripture are lovingly sung and proclamations are declared back to Him as the instruments continue to play. During this worship set, we purpose to receive deeper truths, revelation, and understanding about specific Biblical passages. Our main desire is to have a living encounter with Jesus as we meditate on Him and as His Words burn in our hearts. As we set our hearts on Him, we grow in intimacy and in the ability to express these truths, and we grow deeper in our understanding of God as revealed through Scripture. At this time we focus on singing through portions of Scripture rather than trying to discern specific themes.
